Obituary of Mabel Kornelia Johnson

Born November 24, 1921, Mabel passed away on June 11, 2007 in Cranbrook, British Columbia, at the age of 85 years. Loving mother and friend to all, Mabel enjoyed gardening, reading and knitting. She volunteered at Fort Steele and as a home support worker in Cranbrook. Mabel is survived by her children: Irene, John, Debbie, Tim and Don, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as by friends Roy and Minnie Johnson, Jeanette Lanthier and several other close friends. (Sorry if we missed anyone) Thanks to everyone for all your support during this difficult time. Mabel will be sadly missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbert Donald Johnson, June 16, 2004 at age 90. There will be a Tea served in honour of Mabel at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 30th, 2007 at 500 Briar St. Slaterville.
