With great sadness the family announces Robert's passing on May 24th, 2006 at the age of 39. He was born February 18, 1967 in Invermere, British Columbia. Robert worked at the Cranbrook Bottle Depot and with Rocky Mountain Bingo. He loved cooking and camping, traditional and contemporary Pow Wow music and was a member of the Ktunaxa dance troupe. Robert often performed at the Key City Theatre; solo performances that he created himself. Robert was well liked by all who knew him and always there to help in any way. He will be lovingly remembered by his mom, Tina Jimmy, step-father Henry Joseph, grandmother Christine Jimmy, siblings; Val (Scotty), Lorraine, Debbie (Vern), Grace, Stan, Bonnie (Jimmy) Tyler (Lisa), Leslie and Morgana, all of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Darylle of Mission, BC, Gwenda of Oliver, BC and Christine of Owen Sound, Ontario. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and best friend, Joe.Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at McPherson's Funeral Home on Friday March 23rd, 2007. A wake will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday March 23rd, 2007 at the Akisqnuk Band Hall, Columbia Lake with Funeral Services held at 11:00 am on Saturday March 24th, 2007 also at the Akisqnuk Band Hall.Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen or to the Cranbrook Food Bank Society; 104 8th Ave South, Cranbrook, British Columbia V1C 2K5.
