Obituary of Elisabeth Elsasser

Elisabeth was born December 18, 1905 in the Volga German Villiage of Hussenbach, Russia and died  at the age of 101 on March 28, 2007 in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Cranbrook, B.C. Elisabeth lived on her own in Trinity Lodge, Fernie, B.C. and had just been relocated to Cranbrook a few days before taking ill in January. After farming in Saskatchewan for many years Elisabeth and her husband retired to Victoria, B.C in 1967.

She was pre-deceased by her husband in 1978 and hten relocated to Fernie, B.C in 1990. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter Eleanor Pfeifer, Victoria, B.C in 1983, son Adam Elsasser of Fernie in 1999 and daugther Alvina Pfeifer, Fernie, B.C in February 2006.

She is survived by her two sons Ron (Olinda) Spalding Sask, and Wilfred (Irma) of Victoria, B.C and one daughter Linda (Ed) Riffel of Cranbrook, B.C. She is also survived by many grand children, great grandchildren.
