Obituary of Cordalene Legere

With great sadness the family announces the passing of Cordalene Legere on May 6, 2007 in Cranbrook, British Columbia a after a brief battle with cancer.Cordalene was born in Birch River, Manitoba on April 27, 1925. She proudly served in the Armed Forces during World War Two. A long-time resident of Cranbrook, Rene was an avid hunter and gardener; she loved to fish and loved to cook. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Felix, children Murray (Brenda), Geraldine (Henry), David (Hazel), Matthew, Beverly (Jim), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by eight siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday May 10, 2007 at McPherson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Westlawn Cemetery. Donations in honour of Cordalene may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 19-9th Ave. S. Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.
