Dear Gerry, Maggie, Dave and Nancy,I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you over Mike's passing. He was always interested and cared for those he knew. As a young fellow just out of high school Mike asked me to coach a minor soccer team for a league he over saw and also coached in. On Mike's insistence every child in the league got equal playing time and equal treatment, he insisted on the kids treating one another with respect and sportsmanship. This was typical of how he approached his friends and team mates through his life. Although he made some bad choices in life he was a very good person and I will miss him. Due to a prior committment we will not be able to attend Mike's service but our thoughts and prayers are with the Dorris family on Saturday and in the time to come.
