Obituary of Norma Dugdale
Please share a memory of Norma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With great sadness the family announces the passing of a wonderful lady, mother and friend. Born in Kelowna, British Columbia on September 3, 1925, Norma passed away quietly at home in Cranbrook, British Columbia on June 9, 2007 at the age of 81 years.
Norma enjoyed a full and active life. She worked during WW II at Joe's Tent & Awning Company making tents and canon covers and for over 20 years as a cook for the Enderby Hospital. Norma loved fishing, golfing, playing Scrabble and she played the clarinet in a marching band in her younger days.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gordon, daughter Sandi, 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren as well as by her brother George Arthur Day, and many nieces and nephews. Norma was predeceased by her husband John Walter Dugdale.
It was Norma's wish that no funeral be held. Donations in honour of this great lady may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 19-9th Ave. S. Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.
