Obituary of Jack Sidney William Hebditch

Jack passed away suddenly Aug 14, 2007 in Calgary Foothills Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Maye of 44 years, his daughter Shawna Bedard ( Greg), grandchildren Braden & Mitchell, his son Shane Hebditch (Heidi) grandchildren Cheyna, Jerrica, Jackson and Catie, his brother Larry Hebditch (Shirley), his Aunt Jessie Feriancek, Uncle Ken Fry (Margaret), and cousins Ruby Smith and Bill Fry (Colleen) and much more extended family. Jack was predeceased by his parents Bill and Beryl Hebditch; and his mother and father-in law Ossie and Gretta Baird, and Uncles Sid and Bill Fry. Jack was born in Edmonton Alberta on Feb 27, 1941. He spent his childhood years growing up on a farm in Enderby BC. He met and married Maye Baird in 1963 and later had two children. Jack was in the construction business from an early age working in various construction camps. He moved to Cranbrook with his family in 1970 and later started his own construction business, which he owned and operated for 30 years. Throughout his years in Cranbrook Jack enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends at Lake Koocanusa. In his retirement years his daily visits with his business buddies and lunch at the Apollo gave him much enjoyment. Jack will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. A celebration of Jack's life will take place Saturday August 18, 2007 at the Cranbrook Alliance Church at 2:30 pm. Reception to follow.
