Erickson: Irene Nellie Grace 1922 - 2007 Born July 11, 1922 in Brandon, Manitoba
Irene passed away peacefully with her family by her side July 24, 2007. She is survived by her son Wayne (Doris), daughters Kathy Gess (Bill) Linda Wilson (Bruce), and daughter-in-law Pat Erickson. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Irene was predeceased by her son Carl Edward Erickson in December 2005. Irene will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Irene grew up in Brandon and Regina, she met and married Karl Gustave Erickson in 1946. Irene lived in Nelson and Calgary and for the past 19 years she lived in Cranbrook.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 28, 2007 at McPherson's Funeral Chapel, Cranbrook, British Columbia. Reverend Jack Lindquist officiating.Donations in honour of Irene may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association Kimberley & District Branch, Box 33 Kimberley BC V1A 2Y5.
