Obituary of George Colbjorn Mikkelson

Born October 7, 1925 in Swift Current, SK, George passed away on November 1, 2007 in Invermere, B.C. He is survived by son Glen, grandson Shawn, and daughter Gwen (Sam) Blondeau all of Fairmont Hot Springs. He will also be lovingly remembered by sisters Gudrun Mauch and Ann Mauch, brothers Olaf Mikkelson, Oskar Mikkelson and a large extended family. George was predeceased by his wife Ellynor, October 13, 1985. George was a resident of Fairmont Hot Springs since 1982. He liked to play the guitar, while others sang along. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday November 10, 2007 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Lethbridge, AB. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.Donations in honour of George may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 19-9th Ave. S. Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.
