Obituary of Ellen MacDonald

1925 - 2009

It is with great sorrow that the family of Ellen Ruby MacDonald, born June 24, 1925 in Nordegg, Alberta, announce her passing on May 17, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 83 years of age.

Ellen leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Eugene (Gene); daughters: Marg Gloeckler, Cathie (Keith) Fox, son: Richard; grandchildren: Sheila (Maurice) Maurer, Marilyn (Brandon) Hyggen, Kevin (Lisa) Fox, Kelli Gloeckler, Jennifer (David) Bruce, Michael MacDonald, John MacDonald, Karen MacDonald; great grandchildren: Kelsey, Jackson, Don, Chantel, Dale, Tyler, Payton, Ethan, Corbin, Jamal.

She was predeceased by her parents: Walter and Doris Richards and her sister and brother-in-law: Florence and Phillip Bednorski.

A memorial luncheon in honour of Ellen will take place at the Steeplesview Recreation Centre in Wardner, British Columbia on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
