Obituary of Michael Tarasoff

1939 - 2010

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Michael Tarasoff announces his passing on Monday, May 10, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 71 years of age.

Mickey was born on April 23, 1939 in Thrums, British Columbia and enjoyed life. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Mickey will be laid to rest with his son Trent in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Mickey is survived by his wife Helen Mullen; his children: daughter Michelle (Glen) Tarasoff-Crossman and Treven (Leah) Tarasoff, Tyler (Karissa) Tarasoff of Saskatoon, Todd (Misty St. Peter) Tarasoff of Cranbrook, Clayton (Karen) Mullen of Okotoks, his grandchildren: Ethan Crossman, Emma and Jane Tarasoff, Angel Tarasoff, Payton Craig, Eric and Ryan Mullen; his brother Hank (Rita) Tarasoff of Cranbrook, Johnny (Carol) Tarasoff of Saskatoon; nephews and nieces: Glen (Tracy) Tarasoff, Denise Tarasoff, Cary (Sherry) Tarasoff, Debbie (Rob) Marcoux; as well as great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Mike and Elizabeth Tarasoff and his son Trent Tarasoff.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Mickey at Christ Church Anglican, located at: 46 - 13th Avenue South in Cranbrook, on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Mickey may do so to their charity of choice.
