Obituary of Robert Abbey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Abbey on August 15, 2006 at the age of 84 with his family by his side.

Bob is survived by his three sons; Michael (Ella), Robert (Heidie), David (Shelley), six daughters Evelyn Hummel (Alfred), Marian Turk (Bruce), Vivian Heinemann (Alvie), Valerie Turk (Roy), Pat Clegg (Dave) and Veralynn Rice (Will), sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren A sister Dorothy Powelson and brother David also survive him.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Vera, in June 2006

.Bob loved fishing, camping and in the later years enjoyed visiting family in England.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Bob's life at the Eagles Hall, Cranbrook, BC at 2:00 pm on August 21st, 2006.
