Obituary of Henry Wilfred Tardif

We regret to announce the passing of Henry Wilfred Tardif on December 8, 2007.
Born September 5, 1923 in Debden, SK. Henry married the love of his life, Louise Harty, on November 12, 1953. Henry and Louise had ten children: Donna (Ivar) Paul (Linda) Lyle, Dwight (Margaret) Janet, Shannon (Glen) Michael, Pat (Jeannie) Celine (Dave) and Chad (Josee). They have nine grandchildren, Crystal (Ken), Vanessa (Wayne) Jennifer, Angela (Jay) Jonathon, Alison, Robert (Hiromi) Josh, Brie, Jayde, James, Emma and Garrett and nine great grand children, Skye, Shea, Jordan, Hannah, Riley, Austin, Blaine, Jack and Riah. and many nieces and nephews.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Alfonse and Leontine, two brothers, Leo and Pat, a sister, Simone and his son-in-law David Donaldson.
Henry drove truck and worked in sawmills in Saskatchewan. He and Louise moved their family of ten children to Canal Flats in 1969 where Henry worked for Crestbrook. Henry retired in 1986 and they spent many happy winters together in Yuma, Arizona. Henry loved to build and fix things; he was the original "handy-man" to all who knew him. Henry was a man of faith and conviction. His word was his bond and his family was his greatest treasure. Henry will be sadly missed.
