Obituary of Ivan Arnued McCormick

Following a lengthy illness, Ivan McCormick passed away at the Cranbrook Regional Hospital on Thursday December 13, 2007. He is survived by Catherine, his beloved wife of 66 years, his sons: Gary and Eric and daughters: Kathryn Anderson and Vicki Waite. He is also survived by brothers Edward and Gerald and by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Ivan was predeceased by his parents, brother Leonard and his son Herb. Catherine and her family wish to sincerely thank the Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers of the Cranbrook Regional Hospital for their kindness, support and care. A very special "Thank You" to Pat McClure, Catherine Blake and the Home Care Nurses of Interior Health for their kindness and compassion over many months. Cremation has taken place and at Ivan's request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary Loan Cupboard: 264-4th Avenue, Kimberley, BC V1A 2R6 are gratefully accepted.
