Obituary of Rosemarie Basso

Rosemarie Florence Basso passed away peacefully at the Cranbrook Regional Hospital on Monday, January 7 at the age of 81 years. Born May 15, 1926 in Lethbridge, Alberta, she moved to Cranbrook, B.C. in 1967 and has been here since. Her happiest memories are those times in the summer months she spent at the farm in Boundary Creek, Alberta as a youngster. These rugged, harsh yet free and happy times were related to us often. Family was of the utmost importance to her and she was always there for us all. A lady we are proud to call Mother, Grandmother & Friend. She was predeceased by her two brothers Steve and Victor Pinchak and her sister Anne Lindgren. She will be very much missed by her daughter Cheryl Lemire son Trevor Basso (Tammy), grandchildren, Monty Lemire, Dillon Basso, Malissa Arkinstall, great grand-children, Gerrid, Megan & Zachary Lemire, great great grandchild, Lori Lee Lemire as well as her nieces and nephews. She will live forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 11, 2008 at McPherson's Funeral Chapel.
