Please share a memory of Pete to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

November 13, 1941 to May 7, 2008

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Pete Mark at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Ursula; son Peter of Cranbrook; daughter Leanne of Cranbrook; and the apple of his eye, granddaughter Jordan MacKinnon also of Cranbrook. Pete also leaves to mourn 3 sister's: Christine Faiers of Cranbrook; Gail McMahon (Bunker) of Cranbrook; Lil Parsons of Creston; and 1 brother, Carl Mark, also of Cranbrook, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete was predeceased by his mother Ann Mark; father Peter A. Mark; and sister Sharon Oakley.

Born in Cranbrook on November 13, 1941, Pete attended Central School and later went on to work in the lumber industry. In 1971, Pete began work for Crestbrook Forest Industries where he remained until his retirement in 2003. Pete was known for his famous potato salad and poker and rummoli nights, where family and friends gathered for lots of laughs. We have all been left with a void, no one could fill your shoes. Rest in peace, and have one for us, until we meet again.
