Obituary of Jim Imre Toth

February 29, 1936 - May 10, 2010

 

Love is a smile, a tear and a touch,

Love says little, but means so much,

Love is forever, and we give it to you,

From the family who thought the world of you.

 

Jim passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, after a battle with cancer at the age of 74. He was born on February 29, 1936 in Bodajk, Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1957 living on Texada Island, then in Kimberley and Granisle and eventually settled in Faro, Yukon, where he resided until September of last year. At that time his illness brought him back to Kimberley to be with his family who welcomed him with open arms!

He had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. His easy-going nature attracted many friends in his life and he will now join his two closest buddies.

He is survived by his son, Jim (Cori-Lynn) and daughter Treena (Danny) as well as his grandchildren, Sydney, Kole, Spencer, Emma and Taylor.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date in Faro, Yukon.
