Obituary of Ethel Eleanor Zentner

1922 - 2010

It is with great sorrow that the family of Ethel Eleanor Zentner announces her passing on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 88 years of age.

Ethel was born in Arena, Saskatchewan on July 15, 1922. She married Nick Zentner in 1947. In 1950 they moved to British Columbia from Saskatchewan. Ethel was a member of the Catholic Woman's League. She was also a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and enjoyed knitting hooded sweaters for infants. Ethel also enjoyed travelling.

Ethel is survived by many friends and family. They are left to cherish the memories she left behind. Ethel was predeceased by her husband Nick, her daughter Elaine, and her parents Frank and Mary Yurko.

A funeral mass for Ethel will take place at Christ The Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00 am Those wishing to make a memorial donation in her honour may do so to the: Catholic Woman's League or a charity of the donor's choosing.
