Obituary of Brian Pagnucco

 December 28, 1951 - October 15, 2009

It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Pagnucco announces his sudden passing on October 15, 2009.

Brian was born in Kimberley, British Columbia, the eldest son of Mary and Angelo Pagnucco. Brian was always fascinated with learning and could always be found reading. His quest for knowledge lead him to Montreal where he spent 9 years pursuing higher education. He eventually returned home to Kimberley and worked for Cominco. He spent his free time developing his love and knowledge of computers which eventually lead him to his second career as an Information Technologist at The College of the Rockies in Cranbrook.

Brian recently found his true calling as a Computer Instructor at the College which brought him much joy by allowing him to share his computer skills and love of learning with his students.

Brian is survived by his devoted mother Mary; brothers: Ken and Dave Pagnucco; sister Kathie (Dale) and Sully Sanche. He is also survived by an uncle, several aunts and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Angelo in 1990. A memorial service for Brian will be held at 2:00 pm at the McPherson Funeral Home in Kimberley on Thursday, October 29, 2009.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a scholarship for computer students, to help inspire future computer enthusiasts, at the: College of the Rockies, Box 8500, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 5L7, Attn. Lois Murray.
