Anne Bernice (Goodwin) CranchIt is with great sadness that the family of Anne Cranch announce her passing on May 16, 2008 in Cranbrook, British Columbia after a long battle with cancer.

Anne is survived by her husband Keith of 56 years. Her four children: Sheila (Murray) Hextall of Peebles, Saskatchewan; Bruce (Barb) of Maple Ridge, British Columbia; Doug (Shaunna) of Canal Flats, British Columbia; and Jenelle (Chuck) Downie of Cranbrook, British Columbia; her cherished grandchildren Curtis (Denise) Hextall; Chad (Erica) Hextall; Trevor (Melissa Commeyne) Hextall; Jarrod (Brianne Mahy) Cranch; Jana and Julene Cranch; Baxter and Araleigh Cranch; Dawson and Megan Downie; great grandchildren: Brooklyn and Grady Hextall and Aldaire and Denilson Rubio Torres. A brother Bill (Leta) Goodwin; and a sister Marion Sexsmith both of Calgary, Ablerta, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Jenny Goodwin and her sister Grace Johnson. Anne was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan on July 1, 1931. She grew up on a farm in the Red Fox area south of Sintaluta, Saskatchewan. She enjoyed her time being with her family and loving her grandchildren.

The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Diabetes Society.

A graveside service is being held at the Westlawn Cemetery in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
