Dirk was born on December 6, 1962 in Ocean Falls, British Columbia. He was called home to meet his lord and saviour on May 13, 2008 at 45 years of age.

Dirk is survived by a large group of loving family and friends.

A funeral service for Dirk will take place on Thurdsay, May 22, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the New Life Community Baptist Chruch located at 1939 Tzouhalem Road in Duncan, British Columbia.

In memory of Dirk, donations can be made to anyone with "big sad eyes".
