Obituary of Russell Pasiechnyk

November 11, 1926 - October 1, 2008

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father and husband Russell Pasiechnyk.

Raised in Saskatchewan, Russ met and married Pearl in 1952. Russ and Pearl moved to Riondel where Russ was employed with the Bluebell Mine. In 1971 he transferred to the Sullivan Mine and remained with the company until his retirement in 1984. Russ enjoyed wood working, cross country skiing but treasured the time he spent with his family most of all.

Russ leaves to mourn his passing, his soul mate of 56 years Pearl; three children: Barb (Ray), Barry (Lori), and Rob; grandchildren; great grandchildren; three brothers: Bill (Kate), Joe (Carrolle) and Pete (Minnie); plus many nieces and nephews.

At Russ' request, there will be a small graveside service for family with a springtime Interment to follow.
