Obituary of John Badowich

February 7, 1930 - September 16, 2008

It is with great sadness that the family of John Badowich announce his passing.

Born February 7, 1930 in Brandon, Manitoba, John made his home in Cranbrook, British Columbia in the 1950's. John married his one true love, Jane, on December 7, 1957. John left his career with the RCMP for a job with B.C Tel and was employed there until he retired in 1986.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping in the Cranbrook area.

John is survived by his daughter Penny (Jim) McLean of Nanaimo, British Columbia; sons: Doug Badowich of Calgary, Alberta, Brent (Cindy) Badowich of Okotoks, Alberta, Howard (Shelley) Badowich of Calgary, Alberta; sister: Cash Badowich of Kelowna, British Columbia; brother Ed (Irene) Badowich of Brendenbury, Saskatchewan; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

John was predeceased by his wife Jane in March of 2006 and also one brother, Barney Badowich.

A funeral service for John will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 in Cranbrook in the McPherson Funeral Chapel at 11:00 am.
