December 23, 1932 - September 22, 2008

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden quiet passing of Jack Foesier in Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta with his family at his side at 75 years of age.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Jack spent his early years as a jockey for his Uncle Nels throughout the British Columbia and Prairie Circuit. In 1975, he moved his family to Cranbrook to work for a local radiator shop. From there he branched out on his own and opened J & J Radiator.

In 2002 he retired and moved out to Moyie Lake where he loved waking up to the calm beauty of the lake. Jack was the watchdog over the Ice Fisherman and had many chuckles over the various boat launching techniques. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Doris of 53 years; Wayne (Shirley); Connie (Ken) Dodgson, Susan Wheaton and Glen Lynn, John, grandchildren: Lisa and Jake Foesier, Jordan, Kelsey, Debbie, Danny & Katie Dodgson, AJ and Katie Wheaton, Marcy (Pablo) Dobud; great grandchildren: Dayton, Kaytlin, Trevor and Connor.

Jack was predeceased by son Joe and his parents, Annie Foesier and Peter Foesier.

A funeral service for Jack will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook.

A private family Interment will take place at a later date.
