It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Porter announce her passing, at the F.W. Green Home in Cranbrook, on October 12, 2008 at 92 years of age.

Born in Cranbrook on February 13, 1916, Alice very much enjoyed knitting, and her "sweets" (candy). In her younger years, she liked to camp and go fishing. In her later years Alice loved to be around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alice leaves to mourn her passing, her sons: Jim (Edwina) and Gordon; daughter Marion; grandchildren: Carol, Tracey, Kristina, Jennifer, Ryan (Kristy), and Hilary; great grandchildren: Kristin, Courtney, Kyle, Shawn, Terry and new great grandson Jaren; sister-in-law Clara Davis; cousin Edith (Dick) Honeyman plus nieces and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her husband Len Porter; her parents Sarah and Harley Davis and her brothers Jim, Frank and Harold "Mike".

A private family service and Interment for Alice will take place in Kimberley at a later date.
