Obituary of Anita Foster

Born: January 10, 1948 in Kimberley, British Columbia

Passed Away: December 17, 2008 in Cranbrook, British Columbia

It is with extreme sorrow that the family of Anita Foster announce her sudden passing on December 17, 2008 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Anita loved the outdoors and her favourite spot was the height of the Rockies. She was an avid hiker, cross-country skier, and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Anita is survived by Steve, her loving husband of 42 years; her daughter Shannon (Greg) Fisher; her only granddaughter Megan; sister Glenys (Don) McNamar of Marysville; nephew Baron Foster, special pals Sassy and Scamp, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Lena Hay.

A funeral service for Anita will be held in the McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 1:00 pm.
