Obituary of Lorenzo Talotti

1915 - 2008

It is with great sadness that the family of Lorenzo Talotti announce his passing at the F. W. Green Memorial Home in Cranbrook on December 25, 2008 at 93 years of age.

Lorenzo was born in Orgnano, Udine, Italy on March 12, 1915. He emigrated to Canada with his family in 1952 and worked for 28 years with C.P. Rail until his retirement in 1980.

Lorenzo is survived by his two sons John (Mary) Talotti and George (JoAnn) Talotti; grandchildren: Tony, Darin, Michael, Lisa, Julia; great grandchildren: Jocelyn and Emma; a sister Delia of Italy, and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Leonilda; friend Gladys Phoenix; and sisters Silvia and Nina of Italy.

A funeral mass for Lorenzo will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook. His Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
