Obituary of Brenda Bergen

Born: March 18, 1955 in Morden, Manitoba

Passed Away: December 20, 2008 in Cranbrook, British Columbia

It is with extreme sorrow that the family of Brenda Grace Bergen announce her passing on December 20, 2008 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook at 53 years of age.

Brenda was a nurse in Cranbrook for twenty years and very devoted to her job. She was a mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Brenda was very loved. She touched many lives, personally and professionally, and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her son Chad (Marnie); daughter Brandi (Chris); grandchildren: Olivia, Gabriel and Indie; her mother Anne; sisters: Darlene (Lloyd), Dianne (John), Rebecca (Randy), Kim, Candice (David); brothers: Kelvin and Kenton; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her father Abe.

A funeral service for Brenda will be held at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 11:00 am.

There will be a private family Interment at a later date.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Brenda may do so to the charity of their choice. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff on the 3rd floor of the East Kootenay Regional Hospital for their kind attention given to Brenda.
