Dear Joyce: First let me re-introduce myself. My name is Bill Welsh and I worked at "the Con" in 1973. I was also the #3 man on John's Mine Rescue team when we won the Territorial Championship and when we went to Nova Scotia. It was with deep regret that I read of John's passing and in spite of 35+ years since I last saw him I recognized his picture (that smile) before I saw the name. I can't even think of John without smiling as every single moment I spent with him was pure fun. John was a generous caring who always had time to help anyone and it is my opinion that he left this world without an enemy. ` I do hope you can find some comfort in knowing that he will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. God Bless YouPeace & Love,Bill
