Passed Away: March 3, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia
It is with great sorrow that the family of Irving George Morey announce his sudden passing on March 3, 2009 at 50 years of age.
Irving was a Godly man who loved the Lord. Irving loved his family dearly and was a considerate and compassionate man. He was very outgoing. An avid outdoorsman, he very much enjoyed hunting and fishing. Irving is survived by his loving wife Kathy; daughter: Kristi (Jordan) Teyke; son: Riley; parents: Captains Cyril and Nellie Morey; brothers: Lorne (Olive) Morey, Roger (Minnie) Morey; sister: Brenda Morey; numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers: Dennis, Otto and Craig Morey.
Visitation will take place at the McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm followed by a funeral service for Irving on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook being officiated by Captains Kirk and Linda Green of the Salvation Army. Interment will follow the service in Westlawn Cemetery, and then a reception honouring Irving will take place at The Salvation Army, 533 Slater Road NW, Cranbrook.
