Passed Away: March 7, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia

The family of Frederick Alvin Chapman sorrowfully announce his quiet passing on Saturday, March 7, 2009 after a long and courageous bout with cancer.

Fred loved to fish, dance and curl. He is survived by his children: Carline (Jake) Charbonneau; Kelly (Kim) Chapman; Tammy (Aaron) Foraie; Shawn Chapman; the mother of his children Louiesa Pierce; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one brother: Nelson (Jean) Chapman; his special friend: Lil Chilton; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Fred will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Fred may do so to the: Canadian Cancer Society, 19 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9 or the: F.W.
