Obituary of Anne Redfearn
1944 - 2009
Anne Muriel Redfearn passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on April 3rd, 2009 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Merritt, B.C. on June 10, 1944, and attended school there. After working for several years in the Postal Service, she married Michael Redfearn.
Anne was predeceased by her infant daughter, Barbie in 1976 as well as her parents John & Muriel Curnow.
She is survived by her son, Ted living in California, and by her daughter Jennifer living in Kamloops. Anne will be sadly missed by her brother, John (Sheila) and her sister, Pat (Herb) as well as her nephews; Michael, Steve, Greg, and Ken. Anne has three Aunts and one Uncle, and many Cousins who will miss her bubbly, friendly, outgoing, caring personality.
Anne was very involved with the Naturalist Club for many years, and she will be greatly missed by her many friends and acquaintances whom she treasured.
Anne will be cremated, and will have no Service as these were her wishes. We will all remember her in our own unique way, for she was a wonderful, caring, unassuming person who didn't want any fuss over her passing.
