Obituary of Annie Armstrong

1933 - 2009

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Olga Armstrong on April 19, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Annie was born on December 26, 1933 in Kimberley, British Columbia. She was an angel on earth and is now an angel in heaven. Left to cherish Annie's memory are her friend, Bob Berger; her children and their families: Juananne (Eldon) Wales and children, Ryan (Charlotte), Jeremy and Joshua; Patty (Harold) Mucha and children, Dustin and Carly; Leanne Egeland and son Jesse; John (Diane) Armstrong and children, Brandon and Jordan; Aaron (Cindy) Armstrong and children, Kade, Darrien, Presley and Sasha; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends in Canada and Norway as well as her brothers and sisters at the Rebekah and Scandanavian Lodges.

She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; sister and brother in law Judy and Walter Shubert, Ray and Hazel Armstrong, Jack and Ina Armstrong and nephew Tommy Armstrong.

A memorial service to celebrate Annie's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery. Reception will be held at the Scandanavian Lodge.
