Obituary of Abram Unruh

May 3, 1930 - May 29, 2009

It is with great sadness that the family of Abram Unruh announce his sudden passing on Friday May 29th, 2009 peacefully at his home in Marysville.

Abe will be fondly remembered for his great love for "his girls" (Joan, Susan and Marcie) and his grandchildren who were the sparkles in his eyes. Important in his life was the precious relationship he had with his God Jehovah, whom he served faithfully and actively for over 50 years.

Abram was predeceased by: His father Peter Unruh, His mother Annie Unruh, His sister Elizabeth Lowen and His brothers Peter and Harry Unruh. He is survived and greatly missed by his wife of 50 years Joan, his daughter Susan (Darren) Baerg; his daughter Marcie (Cam) St. Jean; his grandchildren Kyle, Mason, Lauren and Maija; his sister Ann Epp; his brothers Bob (Lynne) and Ken (Karen) Unruh, his brothers and sisters in law Allan and Marni Miller; Merle and Ev Simon, Ernie and Jean Funk, Lou and Gloria Rogers, Fred and Char Miller, many nieces and nephews and his chosen children Tim and Kathy Tanner.

A Memorial Service will be held for Abe on Saturday, June 6, 2009, 2:00 pm, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 665 - 304th Street in Marysville.
