HERBERT - Birgit Gudrun

1922-2009

It is with great sorrow that the family of Birgit Gudrun Herbert announce her passing on June 25, 2009 in Cranbrook, B.C., at the age of 86 years. Birgit was born on August 22, 1922 in Germany. She was a very talented photographer, world traveller and dedicated animal lover, (who especially loved her dogs) and dedicated much for her time to the SPCA in Cranbrook and Creston. Birgit will be deeply missed by her two sons; Roy (Doreen) of Richmond Hill, ON, and Raymond (Monica) of Orangeville, ON, daughter; Jacqui (Martin Van Geene) of Cranbrook, BC, sister; Karin in Germany, Grandchildren; Rachel, Chris, Andrew and Jacky and six great grandchildren, as well as many friends in Cranbrook and Creston.

Birgit was predeceased by her husband Frank in England in 1976. There will be no service by Birgit's request.
