Obituary of Colin Dwayne Adachi

1971 - 2009

Colin Dwayne Adachi passed away at Foothills hospital June 26, 2009.

He was born in Cranbrook to Tom and Doris Adachi June 15, 1971. Colin enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors; from fishing, to exploring new areas on his motorbike with family and friends. His strong commitment to family and friends will always be treasured and never forgotten. Colin's love for fixing things led him to a 20 years career as an automotive tech at Northstar Motors - where everyday he gave his all. Colin will be sadly missed by his wife Janell; son Jordan; daughter Kyra; father Tom; brother Rick (Andrea); sister Cindy (Bill); sister Kim; niece Samantha; nephew Bryan, as well as many other extended family members.

He was predeceased by his mother Doris, and numerous other family members.

A service for Colin will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Alliance Church in Cranbrook with Reverend Jack Lindquist officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: STARS Calgary Base - Head Office,1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, Alberta , T2E 8M7 or the: Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, Cranbrook Unit, #101, 105 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2M1.
