Obituary of Alice Redding

1916 - 2009

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alice Redding, August 4, 2009 at the age of 93. Mom's final home was at The Pines - Kimberley Special Care Home in Kimberley, British Columbia.

She was born in 1916 in Glasgow, Scotland and came to reside in Kimberley in 1919. She loved living in Kimberley and especially those wonderful years in Chapman Camp. Mom was a very avid golfer and kept swinging until she was 91. She was a very talented oil painter, many of which her family have gracing their homes today.

She was predeceased by her parents and 5 of her siblings and her loving husband, Ralph.

Alice will be dearly missed by her three children, Brent (Vicki) Redding, Judy (John) Boucher and Stephen (Kerri) Redding; also by her four grandchildren, Kevin (Ginnesa) Redding, Patti (Chris) Andrews, Bob (Tamara) Perkinson and Alyse Redding, and the pride of her life, her 5 great-grandchildren, Kyla and Spencer Redding, Ethan and Declan Andrews and Andrew Perkinson.

Funeral services for Alice will be held Friday, August 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the All Saints Anglican Church in Kimberley.
