Obituary of George Paul Weichel

1926 - 2009

It is with deep sadness that we announce dad's sudden passing on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 leaving an emptiness in our hearts. Born July 20, 1926 in Romance, Saskatchewan, Dad was an incredible father and grandfather. He was totally devoted to his family. There was nothing that he couldn't do, make, fix, figure out or cook to perfection. He loved to work, fish and especially care and provide for his family. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Dad is survived by his daughter Nancy (Lorne) De Rosa; son-in-law George Franssen; and grandchildren Jamie Franssen, Chris De Rosa and Kelsey (De Rosa) Cwikowski.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Thelma in March of 1999 and daughter Darlene in December of 2004.
