Obituary of David Burwash

1943 - 2009

After a life full of joys, challenges and triumphs, on the day of his 50th anniversary of working as a dental technician, an achievement he was rightfully and immensely proud of, Dave began his brief struggle with illness. Dave displayed an incredible will to live and did not want to leave his family, however they gave him permission and he took his last quiet breath while in the arms of his loving wife and his family at his side on October 10, 2009.

Dave was born on July 23, 1943 in Essex, England. He was devoted to his family, loved working and gardening.

Left to cherish Dave's memory are his one true love and wife of 43 years, Carole; three children: Kim (Marc), David (Sherri) and Chris; one brother, Ron (Gwen) Burwash; two sisters, Ann and Christine; nieces and nephew, Laura, Clare, Paul and Karen.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ron and Emma. A Funeral Service for Dave will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Christ the Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
