Obituary of Darlene Viola Jordan

 It is with great sorrow that the family of Darlene Viola Jordan announces her passing on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at 75 years of age.

Darlene was born on June 15, 1934 in Creston, British Columbia and lived there for over 50 years. She moved to Cranbrook 21 years ago. Darlene was passionate about poetry and loved the mountains and the outdoors. Darlene leaves to mourn her passing, her 5 children: Kim, Alana, Brent, Elisa (James) and Brad; her grandchildren: Evan, Cory, Brandon, Darlene, Melissa, Tasha-Lee, Steven, Christopher, Megan; numerous great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Norman (Annette) and Dan, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons: Daniel "Danny" and Allan, her parents: Claire "Jack" and Lillian "Billy" Gallagher and one brother Gary.

A gathering to Celebrate Darlene's Life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Darlene may do so to the charity of your choice.
