Obituary of Blanche Kotush

May 30, 1931 - November 12, 2009

Blanche Kotush passed away peacefully with four generations joining hands. Also present were two of Blanche's dear friends as God reached for her. Their devotion will never be forgotten. Blanche is survived by two children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her kindness and amazing generosity never wavered. She shared and helped so many. She will be greatly missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her.

A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital for their professionalism and care.

A memorial tea to Celebrate Blanche's Life will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Kimberley Western Lodge (2665 Warren Avenue) from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Blanche's honour may be made to: Kimberley Meals on Wheels, 260 - 4th Avenue Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 2R6 or to the: Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank Society, 340 - Leadenhall Street, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 2R6.
