Obituary of May Ingeborg Grimm

1923 - 2009

It is with great sadness that the family of May Ingeborg Grimm announces her passing on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 86 years of age.

May was born on April 4, 1923 in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A dedicated teacher, she will be fondly remembered by everyone she taught and by all whose lives she touched.

May is survived by her son Roland Grimm (Sharon Andres); daughter Donna Knapp (Terry Haugen); granddaughter Jennifer Knapp (Ian Giles); grandson Jeremy Knapp; sisters: Evelyn Batty, Irene Anderson and Bella Barber, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Walter Grimm, her parents Swan and Florence Johnson and a brother Melvin Johnson.

A memorial service for May will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook at 11:00 am.

A private family Interment will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of May can do so to the: F. W.
