We've lost a beloved sister and a good friend. My memories of growing up together are lots of fun, laughter - and learning to lose table games gracefully! Our thoughts are with all of you. John and Ina Schellenberg

Uncle Henry, Dan, Dyan, Donna, Jamie,
I've been thinking about you guys a lot this week. Memories of your mom are both distant and very clear. I remember going to your place as kids when you still lived in Calgary (and always being fascinated by your dad as 'a hunter'!). Those times lodged Aunt Ann in my mind as such a gentle and kind person (she reminded me even at that early age of her sister Mary in terms of her gentle curiousity and smile). When Brenda and I moved to Kitchener back in the early 80's, Uncle Henry and Aunt Ann were travelling through and made a point of calling and coming over to our place - a connection that both of us really valued. And I recall clearly the reunion we had as a Schellenberg clan in the early 90's in the lower mainland. We've seen each other only rarely over the years, and while life has taken us in various directions I am increasingly aware of the importance of family in all its forms. In this time of loss for a loved wife and mom, I pray that you find strength in the memory of her goodness and love - and in your relationships together. I'm so glad that mom and dad, Kim and Byron, Jeff and Ingrid and Mike can be with you this weekend at the memorial service on Saturday. I'll be thinking of you. God's hands hold you.
Terry and Brenda, Winnipeg

Uncle Henry, Dan, Dyan, Donna and Jamie,
I too have many good memories of time spent in Coaldale and in gatherings of the wider family. My strongest memory of Aunt Anne is that she was a contented and happy woman, (who loved to play games, and win!). I think she shared her contentment with others through her genuine kindness, interest, and sense of humour. You have been in my thoughts the past week and will continue to be in the weeks to come. God keep you.
love,
Gail
