Obituary of Wayne Elmer Fletcher

1966 - 2010

It is with great sorrow that the family of Wayne E. Fletcher announces his passing at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook after battling and losing a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Wayne was born on December 4, 1966 and will be remembered and loved by his father Wayne L. Fletcher (Lyn), his mother Leyntje McCarthy (Ken), his sisters: Cheryl, Stacie, Kari and Danna, his step-brother Jason and many extended family relations.

A special thanks to Susan of the Cranbrook Hospice Society, Wayne's friends from his Clubhouse, and all the wonderful nurses from the 3rd floor general Palliative Care and Oncology.

A Celebration of Life service for Wayne will be held at the Abundant Life Church (501 - 11th Avenue South in Cranbrook) on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Wayne may do so to the: East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Oncology and Palliative Care Unit, c/o 13 - 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 3H9.
