Obituary of Barry Rowan

1948 - 2010

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Barry Rowan announces his passing on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 62 years of age.

Barry was born on January 9, 1948 in Saskatchewan. Left to cherish Barry's memory are his loving wife, Valerie; two sons, Joe (Shauna) and son Dakota; Gord (Alana) and sons Liam & Wylie; his brothers: Gordon (Zinnia), Alan (Marge), Chris and Danny; mother-in-law Grace Stuart; brother-in-law Grant (Cynthia) Stuart; sister-in-law Marilynn Stuart, brother-in-law Doug Stuart as well a many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Barry will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Barry may do so to the charity of their choice.

The family would like to thank Dr Blumenaur, Dr O'Brien & Val of Oncology and all the nurses on 3rd floor at East Kootenay Regional Hospital, who took such great care of Barry.
