I would like to share a memory of my Aunt Marjorie with her family. When I had all my wisdom teeth removed and my face was the size of a pumkin, I was crying and Aunt Marj came in to me room and stroked my hair and told me everything would be alright. I have never forgot her loving kindness. I will miss her. I am sure Uncle Paul and David were waiting in heaven with open arms. I hope your memories will keep you all strong

Our family was very saddened by the news of Marjorie's passing. We lived across the street from her here in Cranbrook for many years until we moved last November. Marjorie always told me how she would watch our three kids play & ride bikes in the front yard. Our youngest, Donnovin, loved to go across the street & shovel her driveway & would always run to her & give her a hug when he saw her. She always brought over her delicious jams when she made a batch. She always filled me in on her family & their activities. She was very proud of all her children & loved to talk about her grandchildren & great grandchildren. We have fond memories & will think of Marjorie often.

We are so very sad over the loss of you wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will always be in our hearts. Your family has suffered such losses in the recent past. We know that memories will help you all be strong. There are many loved ones who have waited to be reunited. I am sure it was a happy reunion for all your Mom's beloved family.

I was so sad to hear this news...I am just thankful that there wasn't a long time suffering and that she will be reunited with Uncle Paul and David....and her cousin John...my Dad. Your family has been through so much in such a short period of time. Be strong and carry on.

I always have a huge smile whenever I speak about or remember stories about my Grandma. She's very well known amongst my friends in both London and Toronto for her incredible energy, enthusiasm and pie making skills. Grandma had an incredible sense of humour - sometimes her funny stories would even lead to what she dubbed a 'pee laugh'. Some of my favourite words my Grandma used to say are 'bargoonie' and 'hokey doodlebug'.
I always admired my Grandma's resilience, determination and independence. She had a wonderful heart and friendly character, and really valued her family and friends. Above all, my Grandma was a really fun person to be around and she was never afraid of trying something new (the dim sum picture says it all).
I'm going to really miss my Grandma but am happy that she was able to live her 86 years to the fullest.
