Sorry this is very late----just noticed it now. Sincere condolances to Juanita and all her family--do you remember living with us (the Petterson's) in Cranbrook when you started school. Maybe I'll meet you one day again. Your Dad was the nicest person and I remember him well. As I remember, he was a gentle, soft spoken man and was very kind. My sympathies to you all. So sorry to hear of Ed's passing ! I did not know Ed very closely although I had met him and interfaced with him many times. I always liked Ed . The reason I first met Ed was when his daughter Juanita came and stayed with my family for the best part of a year . I don't remember the circumstaces but I'm sure it was education access related .Jaunita was such a beautiful , wonderful and polite young lady for her age that no one could forget her . I didn't know the rest of Ed's family . Here it is ..about 50 some years later that I remember the Jaunita girl & her dad . I'm pretty sure the Juanita girl will not remember me or my family but that is okay .... I remember Jaunita and her dad !! RIP...Ed !!!...and God bless you Juanita !!!! Regards Arnie Petterson .
