Obituary of Catherine Eleanor Currie

1915 - 2010

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Catherine Eleanor Currie announces her passing on Saturday, March 20, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 94 years of age.

Kaye was born on August 30, 1915 in Shellmouth, Manitoba. She was a warm friendly lady who loved a good joke and talking to every one. She had season tickets to the Kootenay Ice and loved watching the games. Kaye loved to visit and chat with her many friends.

Kaye is survived by her loving husband Roy; 3 daughters: Elaine (George) Karras, Madeline Andrews and Donna Telford (Jeff Gifford); 3 grandchildren: Robin Andrews, Niki Karras (Terry Wade) and Bob Karras; 3 great granddaughters: Elisha Andrews, Ellen and Georgina Wade; many nieces and nephews; and 2 step-children: Sandra (Barry) Duke and Ron Currie.

A funeral service for Kaye will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Her Interment will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Kaye may do so to their charity of choice.
