Obituary of Natallia Ralph

1933- 2010

Grace Ralph passed away on April 10, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Grace was born in Fenwood, Saskatchewan, the youngest of 9 children. She moved to Kimberley in1955 where she lovingly raised a family of 5. Her greatest joys were her family, friends, home and garden. She loved walking, nature and her beautiful home which is a sanctuary for family, friends, birds and wildlife. She cherished her involvement as a volunteer with the Kimberley Library, Kimberley Hospital Auxiliary, Seniors Helping Seniors and the Cominco Gardens.

Grace is survived by children: Laine (Mel) Koshlay, Coryl (Sandy) Ralph, Terry (Nola) Ralph, Lori (Dan) Ralph, and Cindy (Dave) Bird; grandchildren: Jolene (Dan), Kellan, Chad, Shawn, Jerrod, Braeden and Talia; great granddaughter Addison, sister Anne Muzyka; brother Mike (Adele) Sawchyn; brother-in-law Walter Koshman; and numerous nephews and nieces. Grace was predeceased by loving husbands Nestor Koshlay and Barney Ralph and partner Jim O'Connor; as well as brothers Peter, Leonard, Andrew and Harry, sisters Mary and Nell.

Anyone who wishes to join us for a memorial tea in honour of Grace is welcome at the family home (219 Archibald Street) on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A private family Interment will be held at Kimberley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kimberley Special Care Home (The Pines), 386 - 2nd Avenue, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 2Z8.
