Daisy and my mother, Kay Baynes, were friends when I was a child growing up in Cranbrook. When we lived at 333 6th Avenue South I used to walk past the Gunson house every day from September 1 - June 30 to get to Tenth Avenue School. That is ... until my family moved to Pinecrest in the summer of 1963. I have so many memories of Daisy - just snippets really - but she was someone my Mom really enjoyed. I last saw her in 2009 at my Mom's funeral, which she and Linda attended. I didn't know that her middle name was Charlotte, which is my given name! Rest in Peace, Daisy. I remember you fondly.

So sorry for your loss .I have fond memories of visiting aunt Daisy and uncle Ted both in Cranbrook and at family get togethers at Saltcoats and the last time the summer befor last when she took one look at me and commented " God you look old" I will always miss her and remember her . I remember so many chats in the living room and kitchen nook....water skiing at the lake...turkey dinners...searching for gold in the snow....I still cherish the painting Daisy made for me and the personalized Christmas stockings. We shared many years together and Daisy,s gentle , caring nature will always be remembered. Love always Sandy and Alexander ......hope the flowers have arrived.....
